Speaker

Robert Bernasconi is the Edwin Erle Sparks Professor of Philosophy and African American Studies in Department of Philosophy at The Pennsylvania State University. His Areas of Specialization include Continental Philosophy, Social and Political Philosophy, and History of Ethics. He is famous for his reading of Nietzsche, Heidegger and Levinas. He is author and editor of several books, including Heidegger in Question: The Art of Existing, The Question of Language in Heidegger's History of Being, and How to read Sartre, which is translated into Chinese.

Wu Guosheng is a Professor of History of Science at Department of the History of Science, Tsinghua University. He is also the Chair of the Education Working Committee of the Chinese Society for the History of Science and Technology and the Chair of the Acdemic Committee of the Chinese Society for Dialectics of Nature. His Research Interests are Western Intellectual History of Science, Phenomenological Philosophy of Science and Technology, and Science communication and Science Museum. His works include Greek Spatial Concepts, Lectures on the Philosophy of Technology, and Ideas of Time.

Zhu Qinghua is a Professor at College of Political Science and Law, Capital Normal University. Her research areas are Ancient Greek Philosophy and Philosophy of Heidegger. She is the author of Return to the Phenomena of Factical Existence and  translates Heidegger’s Parmenides and Basic Concepts of Ancient Philosophy.

It is our honor to have Prof. Andrew Benjamin (from University of Technology Sydney ) to give us a lecture in Heidegger Forum 2021..

 

Andrew Benjamin is Emeritus Professor of Philosophy in Monash University and teaches at University of Technology Sydney. He researches Continental Philosophy and Architecture Theory, especially famous for his studies on Heidegger, Adorno, Benjamin and Lyotard. His works include The Plural Event: Descartes, Hegel, Heidegger, Architectural Philosophy.
